| The theme for this weeks project was self portrait. Which I didnt' realize until I began posting. So, lucky for me the boys and I were messing around with the tripod whilst playing with our new drum set, on our heads of course. So, here it is, my self portrait, too bad this was in the morning and I hadn't even gotten dressed yet. Oh well. Beth au natural! |

| My trip to San Diego. The first day I got there I decided to go walk along Mission Bay for some photos. These birds captured my eye and I liked the green moss on the sand for added contrast. So pretty there. |

| Because I went to San Diego on my own and because of the circumstances of my life right now I decided to photograph this little family sitting staring at the ocean. They all seemed so content and the little boy spent the whole time chasing and playing with the birds (in his underwear no less). So even though I don't know these people they seemed to capture what I long for and I just thought it was perfect. |

| Meet Chantel. My teacher in science! I went to San Diego for her who I mentored last summer in the lab for a project in which high school teachers spend 8 weeks in a laboratory to not only make connections with real scientists, but also to learn what it's like to do actual science. This conference happens every year and teachers and their mentors attend. Chantel is standing here with her friend from Alaska who just happened to be there at the same time. I think they are lovely. |
